What is it with cat's and boxes

I never understood the fascination with cat's and boxes,lol. Ever since my shampooer arrived earlier my Garfield has not budge from this spot,lol. He's going to be one upset kitty when my husband gets ready to open later,lol.

lol cats are so silly. Once the shampoo error is out of the box he will have a new place to play.

My cats love to squeeze themselves into boxes that are much too small for them. I don't know why it is that cats often prefer a really small box to one that's roomy, but I guess it must feel warmer.

they all seem fascinated wity boxes and will e vern climb inside of them but have no idea wjhey unlss they feel safe in a boc.lol
