Food is Not Served With Plates

Some Indonesian people are creative. For example, yes, here i want to discuss food served not use plates, bowls or glasses. Intrigued by what creative these foods?
There is a meatball that served in coconut..
What do you think? can you guys share a unique food from your country?

That looks wonderful. In Britain (and, I expect many other countries) we have sorbets served in half oranges, lemons or pineapples. The only unusual item I have have had instead of a plate is a large slab of wood. Sadly many of us use the plastic container from the microwave meal as an alternative putting it on a plate!

thanks, glad to know if this site alive and the community grow again. yes, you right, it's bakso in my country, have you ever try this food? i guess you have try because you know if meatball rename by bakso in my country. LOL
you must try if you come to my country.. it's recommended for you.. hehe
