Seriously...so many of the world's problems would be resolved. What a waste of time creating arms and what not... and spending on discovering perfumes...we know what the raw material is, we need to start there and ensure that whatever fumes leave from it are broken down with reagents and reactions result in same aromatic compounds as with some fragrant flower. We can at least try..

I suppose that you should contact the inventor that made a pill to have farts smelling like rose or chocolate. There is an online site where the pills are sold ; they are not cheap, but imagine people saying "even her farts are smelling like rose".
Everything you always wanted to know about the Fart Pill

@vandana7 I noticed that the pills sold for dogs are more expensive than the pills for humans. But it is poshy to have a dog farting roses, and I am surprised that they are not already official suppliers of HM.

@topffer I wish dogs farted roses. I'd be jammin' on guitar with my buddy Tom, his faithful hound half asleep at our feet. Suddenly we'd be in a cloud. It was not pleasant.

@antonbunot ..May be he has a Shao-lin temple meditation or movements technique that completely incinerates it all inside and releases it all in form of farts or belching gases...

But then people would pick it up, taste it, etc. I did write a piece on Epinions years ago about how the world's problems would be solved if we abolished constipation.

That would be really interesting, I am sure people have already done this, but doesn't it cost a lot of money to take anything that is for it? I am not sure. It is not normally something I look up.

I was also thinking of studying the genes in plants that cause the scent, and genes in humans that cause the disgusting odor, and tweaking the gene to get good fragrance out from there..kinda..saves trouble of transforming the stuff externally.

@vandana7 I think that has already been done. The best people can do is mask the smells.

they would have to alter our body chemistry and digestive systems rather than applying it to every excretion after it has left its host

I agree, total waste of time. Maybe people should try to innovate as to improve toilet seats the way japan did.

Had they done that we wouldn't be polluting our water bodies...smh...now it is industrial waste, plus poop waste, plus any rubbles due to wars or oil spills.

That would really be good. Some times the stink is all over when some people use the bathroom.

We won't need sewer lines ..the most we need them would be for carrying rain water and urine...that is not a big thing to send to sea...poop could immediately be used for converting into fertilizer. Many people would be willing to work in poop factories and more employment would be generated. We would never be short of raw material. It could even be used to generate electricity. I can think of many advantages..

Well, since it gets flushed right away - why worry about it? there are so many other pooping matters to worry about the smell of such isn't top priority in my mind.

Composting toilets do quite a good job I have heard of turning it to soil. Some one needs to get these created for use on a large scale.

This is an interesting project, the more humans are on earth the more something should be found to avoid the bad smell to fill the air.

Feces was designed to smell bad to keep people away from the germs and harmful bacteria. It probably wouldn't be a good idea to make it smell pleasant!
