How many glasses of water do you drink a day?

I have just started monitoring my day to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. It is a bit more than one would think, especially if you are a coffee drinker like I am. It is the NYer in me that drinks a pot of coffee a day, and that honestly depends upon the day. Sometimes it is two pots. Yes, I know that is a lot. I run on coffee.
Anyway, do you drink your 8 glasses of water a day? More? How do you find it helps you through the day? Is it hard for you to do so and what do you find that makes it better to drink?
Personally, I freeze my water so I have ice and it is always cold.
Take care,

Don't forget that coffee, tea and any other drinks, such as soda, fruit juice and so on, count towards your daily water intake, since they are mostly water. The amount of water you actually need varies depending on your weight, the climate and your level of exercise. Most people don't need to be too concerned about how much water they drink. The most reliable indicator is the colour of your urine, which should normally be a light straw colour. If it is darker, you need to drink more water; if it is very pale and you need to empty your bladder more than about four times a day, you may be drinking too much!

'May be' in the last sentence was a thoughtful addition.
I had read that soft drinks actually increase the need to hydrate oneself. If you drink these, you should compensate by drinking increased amount of water.

I love being a sprinkler so I drink my water, a lot.
That's all theory, actually. In reality I drink only as much as I get time to drink.
