Fun Number Meanings

I've just heard about this from some Feng Shui 'expert' I know... Well, I consider her an 'expert' as she certainly knows more than me about Feng Shui laws and systems... Anyway, I'm sure there are a lot more deeper meanings of what I'm about to share here. This is just for fun and keep in mind this is just a very, very, basic explanation of numbers... 
She says numbers can be put into 3 different basic categories, they are: Materialistic, Logical, and Spiritual.
The numbers associated with each category are:
1. Materialistic - numbers 1, 6, and 8.
2. Logical - numbers 2, 4, and 9.
3. Spiritual - numbers 3, 5, and 7.
It is interesting how these categories are used when interpreting numbers in our daily life. There are also other factors used in the interpretation - one particular factor commonly used is the Yin/Yang law. Basically, the law of balance is what we would be after since it is considered the best situation to be in.
Let's say I'm in a draw for a random number for some competition. The number I get can be used to foresee how I should approach that competition for best possible results. Let's say I'm a very ambitious person and would expect to get the number 1 but end up getting the number 2. If I understand what the number 2 represents (logical or intellectual), then I should consider the meaning behind my random number 2 as the balancing factor of my over-ambition. As I said, this is just something fun yet interesting...

What if some numbers go criss cross...let me explain..as per my date of birth, numerologically I would end up as logical. (Am I? weird). Anyway, if I sit down and draw a card, it says spiritual..now there is no connection between spiritual and logical. That means whatever I undertake is not going to fetch me I suppose...kidding..you know me..lol

Yeah, leave it to you to make simple things complicated... 
Being logical is not weird... It's a required feature to balance our illogical tendencies... And there is a connection between logical and spiritual - again, they balance each other in our life...

@dpk262006 I don't really know... But I was told the interpretation often considered the Yin/Yang theory...

@just4him Oh, I thought 1 would be the number for God and there are a few references to the number 7 like the 7th Heaven or 7 days of Creation... But please do correct me if I'm wrong as I have to admit that I do not know much about these numbers related to spiritual...

This is so interesting. For years ever since I was little my favourite/lucky number has always been 7 but I wasn't sure why. I've also always liked the number 3! I have always thought of myself as a spiritual person too
And I found out just the other day that according to my date of birth, my 'Life Path Number' is.. 7! I was completely shocked.
Also my blood type determines that I could be from Angels 
I never have felt 100% human

@annaroselock I don't have one, actually... I like all numbers... But I do have this preference of odd over even numbers - not sure exactly why though...

I wish I knew someone who knew feng shui. My apartment is small but I keep moving furniture around because I'm not comfortable! As for numbers, I've heard that if two people have a special number between them, and one of them passes away, the other should keep an eye out for that number. I know a father who lost his son and the son's number (41) keeps showing up all around him. That just fascinates me!
