Husbands that help around the house

I help around the house, but very, very rarely. So, I guess you are not alone.

When I was married my ex husband didnt help out around the house at all. I know how you are feeling. I got to the point I quit cleaning and he didnt like that much. He still didnt help out and I couldnt handle the house a big mess any longer. My boyfriend I live with now helps me out most of the time. We share in the cooking, and taking care of kids. He helps clean sometimes. Wish I knew what to do to help you.

My husband helps around the house and with the baby. I'm not sure what I would do if he didn't. Sometimes I get upset because my son wants my husband more than me. I'm truly sorry than you don't get any help.

I think men still see it as our job. My man and I had fights about this all the time. When I had a full time job I was coming home, cleaning, cooking, and taking care of the kids. He never lifted a figure to help unless it was to turn the channel on the TV. Then he always asked me why I was so tired and cranky all the time. That's just how they are. So, now I don't work so it's my job to keep the house up. Taught him to not help...now he has to go out a bust butt all day to pay for the bills. Maybe now he wishes he'd picked up alittle. LOL
