My dad My superhero

October 26, 2016 10:50am CST
Hi guys i know for every single person in this world believes that his or her dad is superheroHe cares and wants only the best for his children. In our heart of hearts, he will always be our hero. I asked fellow teens about their Super Dad and the valuable lessons they’ve learned from him. “My dad always told me never to pressure myself. I should do my best in whatever I do to succeed. Those simple words made me achieve a lot in academics, music, and more.” at last i would like to say i love my dad a lot.

I was never close to my father. . He being a disciplinarian and ruled the family with iron fist. I kept my distance from him when I was young. Not until years later did I realized my folly for not understanding him enough to appreciate all the teachings and guidance that shaped up my life to be who I am today. I have some regrets for not spending enough time to show that I am a grateful daughter for all his fatherly love he showered during his lifetime.

My father has never been my hero actually. We're not very close like daughter and father should be. I'm glad you and your father have a great relationship though. =)

Sadly, what you've described here isn't true fo all children. Fathers can disappear, die or be abusive.
