Good morning fellow Mylotters!

I am laying in bed with my kitties just relaxing on this chill Thursday morning. I am still not feeling all that great but I am glad I am not a work. I will probably take two days off and then I will have the weekend so hopefully by then the blood pressure meds will start doing what they are suppose to do and I will feel better by Monday so I can go back to work. I know the past little while with all these health issues it sure has got me thinking about life and how precious it really is. I will be making a lot of changes in my lifestyle and not taking my health for granted. I am also going to start spending more time with the people I love and not letting time slip away. Hopefully I will get into the heart doctor soon and get things straightened out. I want to finally start feeling better again! Today is my fiance's birthday. He is at work now. He works outside. He must be so cold out there. I wish I was feeling better so that I could make him a special meal or bake him a cake but even that much work the past few days seems to take a lot out of me. He understands though but it makes me feel bad. We are suppose to go out to dinner tonight but I will see how I feel, Maybe we will just postpone things until the weekend. I feel bad though because I always try to make his birthday special for him. So today I will spend a good part of my day on here since I can't do much else. Hope everybody is doing well !! Happy mylotting.

One doctor told Tony when he asked how to get his BP down " stop eating salt." Well he cut back and his BP did improve.

Happy Birthday to your fiance. It's a shame he had to go out to work in a chilly day. It's so good to be able to rest and take care of our health.

I was just coming over to message you to see how you are doing today and saw your post. Glad you took some time off you need it . Hopefully your medicine will start working for you and you will start feeling better soon. Relaxing is the best thing for you your man understands you don't feel good right now and need your rest. Hopefully your heart doctor appointment will be soon and they will figure this out. Does heart issues run in your family?

I haven't heard from the heart doctor yet. Yes they run on my dad's side of the family so that is why I am so concerned and scared.

It is my first week in Canada. I am having a hard time adjusting to the timezone and the temperature. I moved here to Canada because my Uncle wanted me to inherit his business because his kids are not interested and asked him to close it down.

If your fiance is anything like my guy, he would rather wait until you are feeling better to celebrate his birthday, we are not kids anymore and we can celebrate anytime.

Yes he is fine with waiting. He will be tired and cold by the time he gets home so he will just want to take a hot shower and crawl under the blankets to get warm,

What is good is that you know and understand the changes that you can make so you don't feel helpless. I know from my partner's experiences over the past couple of years that there is nothing like a medical emergency for making us stop and appreciate being in a happy moment. Best wishes to you.

Happy birthday to your fiance. Get well soon, you need to lie down and put on some relaxing music too and not be at the computer for long. I have high BP this is what doc advises. Regular walks are a must.

Oh L_B. I'm sorry you're not feeling well. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers and pray that you'll get better soon!! I don't know why you need to see a heart dr but I pray it's nothing serious. Try and stay positive and think positive thoughts. I'm a firm believer that positive thoughts bring positive results. I also think it's great that your kitties are in bed with you. Doesn't it make you feel so loved? I know it does for me. My Harley is such a mamas girl. Every night when I get into bed she comes in purring and wants under the covers with me. It's so darn adorable!! Lenny's a daddy's boy. I can call Lenny for 10 minutes and nothing. But Richard comes and says his name once and he comes running. It's cute!! Chloe is just skittish. I guess the feral in her is sort of still there. Ok I'm rambling. Hope you're fiancé enjoys his birthday. Feel better and try and have a good day!!

I have to see a heart doctor because they can't get my blood pressure in a safe range even with meds. They want to do a stress test. My blood pressure was 213/115 the other day when I went to the hospital. It goes up and down for whatever reason. Anyway hopefully they can figure it out before it affects other things. Cats are wonderful. Both of ours sleep with us. Harley sleeps on my pillow above my head and Merle sleeps between the two of us, under the blankets. lol Your cats sound adorable. It is funny how they all have their own little individual personalities.

@Mustangjenny34 lol that is cute. Yes that is what I am feeling today, lightheaded, heart racing and a weird numbness in my face. It comes and goes. I have been in bed all day but I got up and swept the floor a little while ago and it exhausted me. It's a terrible feeling.

@Happy2BeMe Wow. I hope your doctors can get your bp under control and fast!! I know how that feels. I tried a new medicine for the MS and it totally messed up my bp. It made my heart race, sky rocketed my bp and I felt plum horrible. It took a while to get back to normal even after I stopped the medicine. I was so dizzy. I hated it. So I totally feel for you!! I love cats and their personalities. Lenny will sleep on this one pillow I have as long as Dexter isn't on it. Chloe sometimes goes under the covers but she mostly sleeps on top of them in between Richards legs. Makes me jealous. Lol

Rest well and eat the right food for you. I guess it is better to clear your head from anything that might stress you, and besides it is your rest day until weekend and you have the right to be free from any stress... lol! Maybe a special dinner at home is great... besides all you need is each other.
