Dreaming Dead Friends and Relatives when I'm Depressed

Eversince I was young, especially when I'm depressed and had lots of problems , I always dream of my dead friends and relatives. There were even times that my two dead childhood playmates would kept on coming back in my dreams. I just stopped dreaming on them when I lighted candles on their graves and uttered some prayers. By the way, both of them were brutally killed. One by her husband and the other one by some unknown people. For weeks now, my dead parents, especially my mother, keep appearing in my dreams. Seems she has some messages for me but I still have to figure out. Or maybe she just want to comfort me that's why she keeps on appearing in my dreams. The other night, I dreamed of my dead father in law who was also closed to me. Do you dream dead people sometimes?
