Finally - a 'national day' I can get down and dirty with!
Today is October 28th, which is "National Chocolate Day"....a day that myself and many others will celebrate. Not that I don't celebrate chocolate on an almost daily basis, but today it is a necessity LOL.
I don't have a houseful of chocolate, but I have enough to get buy. I have chocolate ice cream and a few pieces of chocolate bark (dark chocolate and pretzels pieces) which is really good.
However, it is a little too early in the day for me to indulge, I'm an evening chocolate eater. So until later today I'll just think about chocolate.
What's your favorite chocolate?

@AbbyGreenhill i came to my senses today when i saw there's only 2 pieces left.

@AbbyGreenhill My husband was not of help, he brought me several kind of dark chocolates he knows I love. I will keep them down in the cellar and bring up only a few, so I am not tempted to eat too many.

Pecan Turtles Chocolate candy! I also like assorted chocolates in a Valentine box because I like the thrill of the surprise! I'm always happy with whatever I pick because it doesn't matter what's on the inside, as long as it's chocolate on the outside!

It's hard for me to name a favorite. I love See's soft centers. For awhile I was on a dark chocolate kick, but now I'm enjoying the milk chocolate as well. We have some miniature Milky Ways in the house.

I'e been dying for a Hershey Special Dark bar but haven't gotten to the store to buy one. Since today is National Chocolate Day it would be a perfect excuse for me to indulge and I'm assuming there's no calories in chocolate today?

I do love chocolate although I managed to give it up for 8 months once when I was going through a health phase. I'm glad I went back to it though as it's one of life's pleasures. I like all kinds. I like expensive continental truffles but I'm also happy with a Curly Wurly. Chocolate orange is probably my favorite chocolate type of all but I like chocolate mints with coffee after a meal.
