Through out the Bible that talks about the life and times of Samson on Earth, it was never recorded that there was any time he was counseled, neither was there any time it was recorded that he prayed unto GOD save the only prayer he prayed at the last point of his life where he destroyed the building and the people. What can we learn?
1- Let not your strengths lead you to think no one else' opinion counts, after-all you're wiser. Probably friends must have counseled Samson concerning Delilah, but he didn't yield.
2- Never be too capable in life to the point where you don't need GOD, lest problems makes that a mandatory for you just as Samson.
*Cheers*

Just to add, people think that it was Samson's hair that made him strong actually it was the Spirit of the Lord. His down fall came when the Spirit of the Lord departed from him
"Then she called, "Samson, the Philistines are upon you!" He awoke from his sleep and thought, "I'll go out as before and shake myself free." But he did not know that the LORD had left him. "Judges 16:20

@Jenning the hair only symbolized obedience to God, with or without it he or all of us would be strong in different ways so long as the presence of God is in us

@louievill Yea, but you have to read that Book very well, because GOD gave specifications for it not to be cut, and the Bible do tells us that he had seven locks on his hair, which indicated the seven Spirits of GOD upon him. That therefore depicts that his hair was sacred, and held the sacred presence which went with him, of which when it was cut, it departed. Grab?
