Where are all the scary movies?

I found a scary movie on Netflix, but regular cable programming doesn't seem to have many. I have 250 channels, but no premium, and the only scary movies I saw were ones I didn't want to watch!

Hi snowy. Usually, a good source for me to find scary movies are the local broadcasting channels. I will give it a try, but good scary t.v. is getting harder to find.

I would agree with that...they all seem to involve teenagers or blood and gore, or blood and gore!

@Talknpen I haven't ever seen that one. The Omen was on today, great movie, but I have seen it many times.

@snowy22315 I think a great horror movie would be 'Black Christmas'. It is quite the classic.

It seems they don't make good ones anymore. That bothers me a lot. But I have Directv and I found many movies on the premium channels like HBO and Showtime. But I also have Apple TV. So I can find just about anything. I hope you find something to watch for Halloween.

@snowy22315 I watched Silent Hill the other night. It was okay. Nothing special. I think the best horror movie I ever saw was 1408. That movie got me going a bit. None of the others work for me. I wish there was one that was extremely horrifying.

@inertia4 That sounds like a good one...On Netflix the Babadook is a good one.

I keep seeing ones that aren't appealing either. It's either a marathon of the Saw movies or a marathon of Nightmare on Elm Street movies.
