Just to get into the Halloween feel, what song would you like to be played in your funeral?
Came across this article, http://entertainment.inquirer.net/205227/most-popular-funeral-songs-listed , at a local broad sheet and it does ring true especially for the choices made by Filipinos during funerals. If live music is your thing, you can even get a marching band to provide the aural background during your last moment on Earth.
Mine would be the funny and witty song from a local rock band named Datu's Tribe. The song is aptly titled 'Death Metal'.

That's a curious pick!
Would you also like to be the monster in the song who rises up again to break down in the dance floor with a few new dance moves?

I'm like Anna @LadyDuck , I want it simple and fast, I want my ashes spread around the Adirondack Mountain. Several of my friends ashes are already there. No music maybe voices singing Kumbaya...

How about picking out a song that you'd want people to remember you by?

@allen0187 Either the Worthy is the Lamb final Chorus from Handel's Messiah or Go Rest High Upon that Mountain, by Vince Gill.

That's nice! When you remember the title of the song, do post it here. I listen to Christian music as well.

@allen0187 I'll do that. I haven't heard it lately on KLOVE or sung it in church in a couple weeks. It's a regular in both places, I just haven't had the radio on when it played.

Yes, the photo is mine. That is me taking the photo of myself with my camera as a reflection in my sun glasses. I took it during my last vacation.
What funny song do you have in mind?

I think for me is I Love The Nightlife . It's actually my ringtone .
This music is my favorite since during our college days it was one of those popular ones , and also so appropriate for me because me and my group of friends (we are all 5 girls) , would those days be going home at 4:00 a.m. from discoing .

@allen0187 Correct ! I don't like sad songs , i like those whose tempo is like that . I guess , i am just one jolly person so that music is the most appropriate and my barkada will agree so much .

It would be a good idea, if we tried to get the feeling up a little- maybe choosing a fun or even an upbeat song would do the trick

I would have the people there pick the music, as they will be listening to it. Hopefully, they will pick something that everyone enjoys while they remember me and talk about things we did together.
