Imagine if all of your bookmarks were suddenly removed

what would you do? I am a person that relies on my bookmarks too much. I have a lot of money-making websites, sites that I don't need at the moment but might be of use later, and many other things in my "Bookmarks" section. And I think I would go crazy if I see one day that all of them have been wiped out. What about you Also when I'm at hurry browsing something but have to leave, I bookmark it, so when I get back on the computer I can recall what I was doing previously

I don't rely on my bookmarks often so I'd be okay!

That is cool, but how do you remember all of the sites (if you visit let's say more than 5-10 sites on a daily basis)

I have the names of all the sites on my bookmarks at the back of a notebook. I thought of it once when my laptop was going all wonky ...and though it must be safer to have it written down just in case technology gives up on me.

I will totally be lost. I use bookmarks for school and for work. I totally rely on those sites in order to get my job and studies done. I do not even have the websites' address written down somewhere so it will be a and day for me if they are wiped clean. I guess I can check the browsing history but I have mine set to clear it whenever I log off. Now that you mention it, I guess it will be smart if I save those websites other than in my browser's bookmarks, like in my digital notes or reminders.

Exactly! Using simple notepad to digital notes would be always in handy to prevent the accident loss of those bookmarks

I think that I use links from responses in my email more than by bookmarks--that or type and address in to my browser. Some of my bookmarks though--yeah--I would not be happy if I lost them--though I would certainly hunt down the sites again.

Without my bookmarks, I would feel lost in the forest.

Exactly! I feel like that way around it too. Because I have over 100 bookmarks and nearly all of them are important to me.

It has happened to me. That is why I have both a printed (you can only trust a copy in hand) and saved list as back up. But then you do have to laboriously set them up again.

You sir deserve an oscar for printing it and making a copy of it. I am sure that must have been a precious list of bookmarks so you had 2 backup lists. But yeah, it will take some time to put them back in place as you said it.
