Christian faithful are cleaning the graves of their departed family members. On All Souls Day (November 2). This is a good way of remembering our dear ones who gone from us and show them our love. There will a prayer service at the Christian Cemetery in our town, organized by the cemetery committee. I am to read a passage from the Bible in the service. Pastors and leaders of different denominations will take part and say prayers in the service. A CNI (Church of North India) will preach a homily.

You don't celebrate All Saints' Day? We have a mass tomorrow, November 1 for all saints and November 2 for all souls. The masses will be held at the church at 6:00 o'clock in the morning. This morning, I went to the cemetery and see if the graves of my maternal great-grandparents were cleaned. I saw that also the graves of my paternal grandparents were not yet cleaned. So I hired my cousin to clean the area. These graves are just near each other.

We do celebrate All Souls Day but as there is no resident priest in our church there will not be a Holy Mass. We just will pray at home and honor the saints.
