So this is a first for me. Found the idea on Facebook. I just put it in the slow cooker. Now to wait 2 hours to see how it turns out.
It is a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Swirl Cake. Hubby is a die hard fan of peanut butter cups so this will be a good treat for him.
Here is a link to the recipe if you'd like to give it a try:
I'll let you know how mine turned out.

They don't agree with my system either. I sampled a little and paid the price today.

@LadyDuck my sister and niece can't eat anything with peanuts in it. My niece breaks out in severe hives. My sister gets a rash and a bad headache.

@ElusiveButterfly I cannot even sample a little bit, this can be dangerous for me.

@ElusiveButterfly .....There is a lot you do in the slow cooker. We use it a lot in the winter.

I see these recipes all the time and am tempted to try them, but all the recipes on there are not "healthy" if you know what I mean. I have so many stomach sensitivities I wish there was a nice meal that wouldn't add a ton of pounds and send me to the washroom for half an hour, I have printed out, but never tried any dessert recipes.

I send the recipes to myself in an email so I can keep them if I ever want to try them. My husband found it on Facebook and sent it to me. He also wants a peanut butter cup cheesecake. That seems a bit overboard to me. He is lucky I made this for him.

Oh that sounds good too. Hubby wouldn't care for the cranberry part, but if it were just apple he would like it.

Good luck with the recipe. I can't eat peanuts because of allergies. I'm always hunting for new crock pot recipes, as its the best way for me to make meals on days I'm really busy with work. I like healthy recipes.

I have to watch peanut products that I consume. I too may have an allergy with them. They make me quite ill whenever I eat them. Especially if it is more than a bite.

Hubby thought it was. It did look a little unappetizing though.

It is my very first attempt at making one in a slow cooker. Hope it comes out. It has been cooking for about 30 minutes now. It smells great!

I use ours to make a lot of our meals. Toss it in, turn it on, and voila, dinner is ready when you get home.

@ElusiveButterfly I might do that, while I go to the gym next year (after I renew my membership in the spring.)
