This dates back to the time we were in college.. but it could happen to you today or tomorrow .... be careful.
Vicki and I decided to bunk college and go window shopping,so we walked from college down Jacob's ladder, which was about 200 steps and on to the road, past the lake, down the slope and there was the market.
We walked about a bit and then decided to buy some things.
Our shopping done,we headed home.we walked back the same way we had gone to market. Occasionally,a person would glance at us in passing, but when we were walking back we were getting so much more attention.
Both of us were confused and kept looking at each other to see what was drawing all the attention.
At one point we actually stopped and looked each other up and down to see what was different from three hours previously. Nothing!!!
We kept walking. When we hit main street the bikes were whizzing by and then turning and coming back. We were getting the look!!! Two young women getting that much attention. It started going to our heads.
Then Shammi, a friend went by,he waved, we waved . And then... he turned and came back. This was ridiculous.
Shammi asked us where we had been,if we had gone shopping. How did he know? We didn't have any shopping bags, the shopping had been stuffed into our handbags.
He took the bag of Vicki's shoulder and then we saw what everyone else had seen......Now we knew the reason for the attention.... ..
Vicki had her folding umbrella sticking out of her bag.......... at the end of which were dangling a pair of knickers
...............A pair of CHERRY RED knickers.
