What are you selling?

I usually sell good clothes that my kid outgrows. I'm looking to sell steadily through eBay if I could find a reliable product. I'd like to find a product that is always in demand that will not fizzle over time. Your thoughts?

I haven't sold anything for quite some time, but I have been thinking about looking for vintage/depression glass things. I came across a set of casseroles in a thrift store and of course, didn't buy them. I looked them up and I could have made a neat hundred dollars according to eBay. Time to do some studying!

I'm not really a big of an of ebay they like to take too much pay cut from the product that's sold, and it almost seems that it's not worth it in the end.

Used to sell at eBay as well. I sold books, audio CDs, and DVDs. Had to close my online shop because of time constraints and the changes in eBay that I wasn't too crazy about. I think children's clothes is a good product to sell because you will always have a market for it.

I dont sell much anymore on eBay unless I have something like electronics I no longer use. I used to attempt to sell clothes but unless you have cerrain brands it seems like no one is buying unless its dirt cheap. Hope you are doing well with your sales!

Well, I never sold the clothes of my kids when they outgrew. Where I lived when they were smaller, there were another mum with a smaller child than my kids, so I offered them the clothes. She really needed it at that time and accepted. But, I also like selling on ebay and other second hand shop sites. In the passed, I sold some books and cd's which I didn't need anymore. It was a nice experience and I will go back to it.

@Oolongfan Something similar happened in Spain. Here, we have containers where people can put in the clothes in good condition which they don't use anymore. These items were supposed to go to those families with special needs as donations. But, a private company collected these clothes and put them into a shop to sell them. The refund went to private pockets. In those case, I also prefer to sell them myself.

My child is the youngest and littlest kid of all the people I associate with. I used to donate them to the local thrift store, but I never saw them on the shelves. Come to find out, they were taking the good ones and selling them themselves.
