Whenever I have to really go when I'm outside and there's a nearby fast food restaurant being ever sit on the toilet. Even if they provide those paper seat covers for the toilet seat I won't use them. I'm a very paranoid person and if I was to ever sit There would be so many things going through my head like getting Infections, germs or diseases. For those that use public bathrooms, do you ever sit on the toilet seat, stand or cover the seat with tissue or toilet seat cover paper? Also do you tell your kids to cover the seat with tissue when they use it at school?

Mostly I try to take a sh1t at work as it saves me toilet paper.
We sort of have a sh1t rota where if one of us goes down to the bogs the others avoid them for a while.
It works well

As much as possible, I don't use public bathrooms very much because most of them in our city are unsanitary. So, in case of emergencies, I made myself look for bathrooms that are clean whenever I enter an establishment or a restaurant - I make sure that their comfort room is clean, and I found some great comfort rooms in some buildings. When I really have to go, I just go to one of the closest clean bathrooms I know and don't even bother to put tissue on the throne of comfort (*see what I did there? :D). It also helps to get your own tissue in case of emergencies

@Judy890 Lucky for our city, and for me, because there are a lot of new buildings with nice comfort rooms in them and not much people, plus, there is a small eatery/restaurant in the new building, so whenever I eat there, I use their comfort room while its clean. Maybe after a year or two, I'm afraid I need to find a new comfort room. Ha ha!

@Judy890 I had no choice when I went to work a few years ago. If I held going to the restroom it would be bad for me so I had to go!
At school - I hardly went UNLESS I had to.

Many have no choice but to use whatever facilities are available.

I have a very difficult time using strange bathrooms even when we move into a new place that's one of the first things I do is scrub the toilet down good . My youngest refuses to use a bathroom in a strange place.

That is a very interesting question after all the stories I heard that toilet seats are bad or something about them are not sanitary. There are places that charge to use the bathroom and I try and stay away from them. When I go to my doctor I use the bathroom there and where I sell I use the bathroom there also and also at the dentist office also.
