Far too much! But I never get into debt and know my limitations. The best presents don't have to cost a fortune, it's how much thought goes into it. Anyone can go out and blow a fortune on their credit card on expensive presents that will be given to charity shops after Xmas. Why not cut out the middle man, give a small gift that means something and give the money you would have spent to charity.

Our limit is $400 because we don't charge Christmas. Even with the limit set at $400, I usually come in under. I start shopping way ahead and can usually find a bucnh of good deals.

I try not to spend too much on our nephews and nieces, they got so much that I dont see the same toys again. I try to give them something they can keep for long time. But the limit is about $300 during the xmas time.

I'm too young to bother to give any gifts. I don't even have an income (well, excluding myLot, of course ;)). What I know is it feels good to spend some money for someone you really love and care about. But I know most of times, at Christmas, you have to buy gifts for people you don't even know or just about, or anyway that you don't care about.

I spend nothing for Christmas. Actually I earn some money singing carols to people houses.
