One Foolish Thing One Can Ever Do

I went somewhere for a function, and there, there was a Pianist playing, he was good, but just as the function was on, there sat in their midst another Pianist who is known to the Pianist that currently was playing, and he knew that this guy sitting there was better than him on the Piano in that kind of music they were singing, he had problems scoring the songs, and did not call for help from the other guy, even when he sat so close to him, his pride wouldn't let him do that, and that's how he spoiled the whole stuff. I immediately drew a lesson from that, which is; Always Recognize those that are better than you. They deserve that honor, and that is how we too get better. Hi

We should learn to accept our shortcomings. It is better to be true to ourselves than pretend to be somebody.

@skysnap Yes it's true. I think that unyielding Pianist will make the other guy feel so.

Maybe if the pianist was getting paid, he couldn't very well let someone take his place.

@JudyEv Lolz, and that would have been understandable. Yet he can still call for help if he has the success of the entire function at heart. He wouldn't want to blow up the whole thing.
