How about a TV on your refrigerator door?

When we decided to replace the old fridge, I did some online research and then we went to buy one. It is a good brand, middle of the road price refrigerator. But, while completing our purchase, I was startled to see a large refrigerator with a 15 inch TV screen built into the door.
For only $3000 or so, you could have TV tucked away in that door and never miss a moment of your favorite shows. The young woman helping us said they had not yet sold one of those.
How would you like to have TV in your refrigerator door?

@JamesHxstatic I know that if I am distracted while I work, especially by a TV, it takes the double to finish what I have to do.

@LadyDuck I can imagine someone mixing up ingredients while distracted.

The fridge we have is enough of a nightmare. A Maytag, French door, everyone thought these were great, is junk. If there was a TV to cause issues, it would be even more fun. (Not)
We want a vintage fridge-we know that will work and last 30 years.

I have not heard of this kind of refrigerator .I think it is intended for film buffs, they may watch films over cooking.

Perhaps so, or maybe cooking shows.

That time could get out of hand with a TV.

No. I have one TV, in the living room. I don't want or need another.

Same here, and it is never on in the daytime.

@JamesHxstatic If I didn't live alone, or was still working, mine wouldn't be on then either.

How silly. I like TV but that is sort of ridiculous.

It seems a stretch to me that anyone would want one.

For me that would be stupid because I can see my tv from the kitchen. In the spots where I can't see it, I would still have to move to where I could see it in order to get a good view of it if it were on my refrigerator. That type of thing is for people who have more money than brains.

Good Lord, are you serious? They have made a fridge with a TV? It's just so ridiculous.

That's what I thought, John, but LG is marketing the thing.

Since we have a very open main room in our house, my TV is about six feet from my refrigerator. I don't think I need one of these! LOL

That is one appliance you will not need to look for.
