Our family room furniture arrived along with our decorator and her boss, who was also involved in the planning.
We need a couple of adjustments to the media center, which is not in the photo.
Tomorrow, my hubby and I have plans to go out for breakfast, then look for table lamps and wall sconce shades.
The area rug won't be in until the end of November, and it's padding until mid-December. We will be in Florida then, so will look for our own padding tomorrow as well.
We need window treatments, which will have to wait until the spring, paintings, cashmere throws, and odds and ends, but will take our time dressing this room, so she won't look naked or like a hussy.
By the way, Doodles loves his new room!
***will someone please let me know if the photo is lopsided????***

Oh it turned out so beautiful!!! It's exciting when it all comes together!
I want to change this place around a bit, but I have a lot of clean up to do . . . I'm going to hustle on the clean up before for the next few hours (after getting my myLotting in of course ).

@just4him OMG! It is the one I first posted, then rotated, and then gave up and reused the original. I hope I can remember how to do that from now on, but what a nuisance. It sucked up my entire day!
Thank you sooooooooooooo much, Valerie!

I somehow managed to straighten the photo. Don't know how, but thank you. Doodles only uses his bucket with a scratching post or a blanket in the room, thank goodness! We were a bit worried. He only jumped on a loveseat the day it was delivered to smell a pillow. Lol! I'm going to miss him severely when we go to Florida. I love that boy so much.

It looks just fine. You must have been standing in the corner of the room to fit in more of the furniture. It looks great. Good job.

@MarymargII To be honest, so do I! We are going to look for table lamps Friday. Once the area rug is in and the window treatments are done, it should look much better. Thank you!!!

Your photo is lovely and not on its side, Ive noticed that happens often here on mylot. I love the view out the window, its like mine in the back of our house overlooking a green space and ravine.

@DianneN I have seen photos on their side. When I take photos with my iPad I make sure its what I call normal, the wide look and on the editing program in IPhoto on my computer I can edit and make it any shape, any size.

@PainsOnSlate I'm too ignorant to do that. I think I will take some lessons at the Apple Store when I have time to breathe.

Thank you. This view is the front of the house. We have a similar window looking into the backyard, too, which is basically lawn and then heavy woods. They hung the chandelier today. It looks so pretty. Still waiting for that darn area rug. The window treatments will have to wait until the spring. Btw, I can't tell you how many times I tried to get the photo upright. I blame it on my iPad update or myLot! It is truly so frustrating, because it looks fine on my end, and I have to hope that some kind myLotter lets me know.
