Today Rayne (my step daughter) finally had a chance to meet Freya (we changed the kittens name from Pumpkin to Freya by the way). I was surprised to see how much the kitten took a liking to Rayne. Rayne set a blanket on her lap and Freya ran up to her and laid on her lap.
Monkey the other cat, is terrified of Freya. She's half his size, only hisses at Monkey and he runs away afraid. He refuses to eat when she's eating, and she's only about 12 weeks old. I think it's funny.
As of right now we're still seeing how she's going to adjust to the household, and hopefully we'll eventually be able to keep her. If we get to keep her, her next stop is the vet, we have a local animal group willing to help pay to get her spayed, and I'm willing to fork out the money for the vet and whatever is needed to keep her happy.

Oh that is wonderful. It will take time for them to adjust to each other but I have always found that a male and female cat will get along. Just give it time. She knows she scares him so that is why she does it. It is all a game for her. lol

I never had a male and female not get along. I think it all has to do with his age as well He's nearly 15 years, he's set in his ways and has always been the scardy cat, and she's a young vibrant kitten, who's laying on everyone looking for attnetion
