Happy time with old friends in the past

Does the fact we are getting older make us want to go back to the past? The past feels brighter and happier, which we didn't think it was at the time.

@yanzalong That is true, was it brighter and happier back then, I guess it's because we have good memories of the past when sometimes today doesn't seem to be going our way. When I meet up with my old friends we just chat about the days when we worked together, with the fun we had. Yes going back is always good,something I miss.

But that doesn't mean my being unhappy right now. It is only a kind of comparison between the past and the present time. I wish I could invite all of my old friends who are still living in the same city.

Me too, always remember the past of my school days with friends. We played together, doing school tasks and being scold by teachers. I sometimes dream that I'm back in the schools in the same classroom, meet the same schoolmates and teachers. I'm glad I have happy and carefree school days.

Indeed. That's what I sometimes think I should be back. At least I do sometimes by imagining I am back there.
