I love freshly squeezed orange juice.
I enjoy the natural sweetness and sour taste of orange juice
I wish I could have it more often.
Perhaps a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice every day.
But oranges are expensive.
It would easily take five medium size oranges to fill a glass.
That would cost about S$2.50 or US$1.85 for a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice.
Oranges not only taste good but contains high content of Vitamin C and minerals such as potassium, copper and calcium. Consumption of oranges also lowers ischemic stroke risk amongst other health benefits.
What about you?
Do you like orange juice too?

@LadyDuck Oh, that's nice. Do they grow oranges in Switzerland?

@succeednow Around the lake of Lugano and the lake Maggiore there are places where the oranges grow, but we import the most from Italy and Spain.

@LadyDuck You mentioned that oranges are not that expensive in your country even though they are imported from Italy and Spain. Is it because the European countries sell commodities cheaply to each other? Over here we get our oranges from Australia, USA and South Africa.

@succeednow Lemons are expensive, but you just need 2 or 3 lemons for blending or juicing.
Since none of us drink lemon juice without dilution, you just juice once and it should last you a week.

@scheng1 Thanks. That's a very good tip. Don't you need to add some honey or sugar too? But lemons are expensive too. If I'm not mistaken a lemon cost about $1 or more these days.
