He doesn't like my outfit. Would you change your clothes?

My boyfriend & I are pretty straight forward. If we don't like each other's outfits - we will let each other know. No hard feelings. The other day, I wore my Juicy Couture Velour Tracksuit. I wasn't planning on going anywhere so lounging in it is fine, but in public - my boyfriend hates how it looks. I don't mind, so he asked if I was going to change - I said no. Then, I ate my sandwich and spilled ketchup on myself.. so he won! I had to change If your significant other wears an outfit and you don't think it looks good on them or the combination isn't nice - would you let them know? If I had not spilled ketchup, I wouldn't have changed though!

My boyfriend likes to ask my opinion on every outfit he selects to wear . He doesn't say it in a rude way just.. are you sure you want to wear that?

@infatuatedbby my fiance ask me too but I would not want him to tell me what to wear. If I feel good wearing something then that is good for me.

If my wife comments something like that I would take it off and jokingly throw it at her, even if it were my trousers there is a slight difference when you are already married.

Sounds like a slipperly slope to me, but in general I do not care. I love the poor look, came into this world with nothing and we go out with nothing.

That's funny. If only you hadn't spilled ketchup on yourself.. I never complain on what he's wearing. I'm fine with his outfits. I hope he does the same. So far he hasn't complained mine yet.

Haha! Surprisingly I have always spilt something when I wear that outfit. Maybe the outfit knows my boyfriend doesn't like it much

@Ayuriny Hahah I don't blame him! I don't love the outfit as much! But I felt like wearing it. The material feels like a towel lol!

My husband is set in his ways concerning his clothes. He wouldn't change if I didn't like the outfit. I may change mine but on rare occasion.

@infatuatedbby I dated/lived with a guy for 3 years and he bought me what he wanted me to wear. He would not leave the house until I was dressed how he wanted me to dress. He was a controlling sob. I won't go on but I could for day about things he did/said to me. I was a doormat and I got out from under that and my current husband would never tell/suggest what I wear.

Got be honest I could, care less what my husband does or doesn't wear. It's his style so he can wear what every regardless if I like it or not. If he doe t ask I don't tell. He does the same for me. As a mom I could care less what I'm actually wear or at in public as long as I'm wear clothes and not pj's
