Mending a broken heart with a new haircut

Have you heard the saying that if a girl wants a totally new haircut, she is possibly broken hearted? It seems like some girls, if they want to move on from a heart break, they want a total make over. It is like a start of a new beginning. This happens to girls with long hair and then suddenly cut their hair short.
Every girl has their own reason for a new hair cut. Have you encounter or meet a girl that wants a new haircut because she recently suffers from a heartbreak?
I think I experienced this ages ago when I was young. I totally cut my hair short after a heart break.

i cut my hair short usually because i want a change....but i have had long hair most of my life and fortunately no major heartbreaks.
Though once i remember i wanted a haircut after attending a friends wedding because i wanted to feel different. ..i didn't quite understand what i was feeling...i just wanted to look different.

It happened to me too. I want a new look and I decided a new haircut. My hair is quite long now.

Yes, i experienced it with my sister in law . I had to be with her in her condo because hubby said she might be lonely . And one of the things i first did , was i told her that we will go to a parlor and have her make-over . And she was so happy when she saw herself very much younger looking and prettier too .

I have heard a woman gets a new haircut when they are going through a crisis though not always because of a bad relationship. Although it does seem to be a bad heartache a lot of times. So whenever I see a woman with a drastic new hairdo I wonder if she's going through something.

If a friend of mine suddenly cut her hair short, I always ask if everything is okay.
