Diary 5th November 2016
A very quiet day in for the most part as the temperature plunged lower than ever. I did go out in the mid afternoon to shop, check bus times and briefly visit the library before scuttling back to my warm nest.
It was Bonfire Night – an annual commemoration of a failed 1605 plot to blow up our government. We mark this by blowing up gun-powder bombs for fun. I enjoyed hearing the fireworks from the flat.
Diary Sunday 6th November 2016
Warmer than yesterday though not by too much. After tending to my laundry I headed out to a writing workshop at Preston’s Ham And Jam Café, where we met a local film-maker inviting short scripts for some of his projects, which I my well take up on.
After a brief pub visit and basic shopping I returned home again.

Sounds like you had a good weekend overall. The temperatures are really chilly here this morning. Lots of frost too. Hope you have a great week as well.

I love how a failed plot to blow stuff up is celebrating with...blowing things up!
