While traveling home I was listening to radio. The show's name was Ladies Special and only ladies can call and tell any tips regarding health, fitness, dressing, style etc. On that day a debate was conducted and the topic was," who is more confident and brave? Homemakers or working wives." The topic was good and the debate went well when two ladies back to back argued their points but the homemaker was very strong in her point that they are very responsible and all that. So what do you think of the topic? Share your views.

My wife is both, she helps in the business but is also an excellent home maker, my mother is the same during her prime, she helped my dad but our house was well kept, even when we siblings lived with grandma and aunts, she always saw to it that we were well supplied.

@jstory07 they can definitely, depends on how they were raised up, how they were trained and their own personal disposition

I think both are equally efficient and have responsibilities to fulfill... But for both who are homemaker as well as working hats off to them...

Well, in a way , the homemakers have an edge specially if there are children which they have taken cared of while growing up . But on second thought , working wives are more confident because if ever the husband will lose his job , she still have the ability to run the household with her earnings . And not only can she help augment the income of the family , but she also simultaneously manages the house , since she thinks of what the family shall be cooking while even at work . I have experienced this , when our child was still small .

@SIMPLYD Yeah, working wives have faced so many struggles in their both personal and working life I am sure they are confident enough.

I think both are very difficult jobs to do. I have done both and I honestly think they are both just as challenging. I prefer to be a homemaker and raise my own children-I'm glad I am Blessed to be able to. =) But I do also help with my husband's business and I babysit, I just do these things from home which is nice!

It seems that women has lost the understanding of what a wife and a homemaker is suppose to be. I have heard that the women that has to work and come back home and then, what work again, because their not done yet. I am surprise that they don't burnout.
