Just got back from my appointment

The cardiologist was very nice. He did a cardiogram and he said that there is nothing wrong with my heart so I was pleased with that. He said that my blood pressure is still really high. It was reading 188/105 when I was there so he changed my blood pressure medication from what I am on now. I told him how I was feeling and he said that once my blood pressure gets down to the normal range those symptoms will be go away. He put me on two different blood pressure medications and I have to go back and see him in two weeks. He told me not to worry that they would take good care of me and make sure I get back to being healthy soon. So thank you everybody for all the prayers. I appreciate them so much.

I'm glad your heart is okay. I just wonder about being on two BP medications.

He said that they two of them work together nicely to control blood pressure. I am sure the pharmacist will let me know more.

When Vince goes to the doctor they take his blood pressure twice and the second reading is usually lower than the first. They say that on the first reading people are a bit tense and their blood pressure will be higher.

Yes they always take it 3-4 times with me but it never seems to improve and sometimes it even goes higher.

What a good news! I am glad that there is nothing wrong with your heart. In fact there can be many things which will affect the blood pressure, such as the life pressure, weather and diet. I think a less salty diet and proper exercises will be better for you.

I can't exercise too much until it get downs to a safe range because now when I exercise it caused me a lot of chest pain and pain down my left arm so he wants me to hold off until they get the BP controlled.

@Happy2BeMe Well, hypertension is a traitor disease. My mother was rushed in the hospital with that kind of BP and she looked fine to us but the MRI showed that she had a stroke. I hope for your fast recovery.
