So, Donald Trump (my idol) won!

When Donald Trump was still fighting with his fellow GOP presidential candidates in the primaries, I mentioned in one of my comments that he was my "idol." A fellow myLoter commented: "Your idol!?" Well, I was just kidding. However, in reality there are things that I agree with Mr. Trump. One is about those 11 million illegal immigrants, who he wanted to "ship" back to their countries in fairness to those legal immigrants, who spent time and money, to move to America. That is democracy. I also agree with his "America first!" And one thing that impressed me is he is an ultimate fighter, a relentless hard-hitting counter puncher, and a winner. As for Hillary Clinton, she is just 69 years old. Not very old, but not very young either. She can run again after 4 years. What really so impressive about her is - she is a good loser not like her singer supporter whose name is Kathy Perry, who is fuming mad coz her fellow celebrity won the fight. By the way, what I heard is President Putin of Russia and President Duterte of the Philippines are the first leaders to congratulate President-Elect Donald Trump . . and, likewise, ex-president Bush (sr.) and ex-president Bush (jr.), who voted for Hillary. Good, ey? Do you think Trump will do a good job?

@RitzzView Well, he won the election fair and square. . . Hillary graciously conceded. I wonder why old Madonna is howling and leading stupid protesters against Trump. She must be envious!

@RitzzView Madonna may be mad because Donald Trump chose Melania instead of her to become his 3rd wife.

I've been busy so my response is late but would you believe that when I heard Trump won. I thought of your reaction hahaha! Do you still recall our last conversation? At any rate your prediction about him losing failed but what can we do but just accept and pray that he would do good.

@salonga LOL . . my prediction was wrong! O, well, Hillary, as I looked, was poised to win. I wanted Trump to win for a change. I just want to see him how he is going to make America great . . He is a fighter - - that is one of the reasons I consider him my idol. Another is he loves beautiful women not good-looking men!

Ivanka Trump will secretly make a good job because she will be secretly the President. She does all of her dad's errands.

@CaptAlbertWhisker . . . O, yeah! And what I read is her husband was one of the "brains" in their successful campaign. By the way, Captain Whisker (guessing you are hiding here in Canada like me), get ready to welcome the disgruntled Americans, who will be moving to cold Canada.

I don't know much about him, the media has demonized him over the past few months. Well, he himself made those scandals. but let's see, maybe he might change the people's perspective for the better.

@acelawrites Filipinos ignored Trump and voted for Hillary . . . However, they have nothing to worry coz Prez Duterte will ask Prez Donald to move them all to Guam instead of sending them back to the Philippines.

@acelawrites Don't worry too much . . . What you heard from Trump during the campaign period were just his tactics or strategies to win. The man did everything to win.

I'm not sure how I missed this discussion for an entire year but here I am now! I was glad to see you said you were "kidding' about Trump being your "idol" but then again after reading some of your subsequent comments here I'm not so sure you WERE (or are) kidding at all. I think the fact that the two despots you mentioned at the end of your OP who were the first foreign leaders to congratulate Donald kind of says it all. They're the kind of men he admires the most, strongman dictators who can kill without giving it a second thought, who don't believe in what we call our First Amendment and don't believe in basic civil or human rights at all. Donald isn't a fighter, he's not strong, he's not a winner. He's a cowardly, weak LOSER as well as a racist, misogynist bully. I guess I've kind of answered your question about whether I think he'll do a good job, right...lol?

@antonbunot No, he's a useless piece of orange flab, a total waste of oxygen. With any luck before long he and most of his crooked family will be in orange jumpsuits wasting the oxygen in a prison cell.

"Hillary... can run again after 4 years". Really? From jail? Our PM, Mr Turnbull, was the second one to congratulate DT, thanks to Greg Norman passing on DT's private mobile phone number to the PM. Of course, you'd be correct to say he's not our head of state...

I think he will. Or at least he has the chance to. The media has been inflating his every fault so we don't know much about who he really is, but everyone who has actually talked to him in person said he acted like a perfect gentleman. That aside, I look forward to seeing what a businessman can do who isn't beholden to a million special interest groups. So I'll be watching with curiosity and interest.
