Kevin Patra reports the news on Thursday Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has been working with he scout team this week. The Dallas Cowboys however do not have any plans to have Romo serve as the backup quarterback behind rookie quarterback Dak Prescott since Romo has recovered from a back injury that happened during the preseason this year. Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has insisted that Prescott will remain his starting quarterback since the Cowboys (7-1) have won seven straight football game with Prescott as his starting quarterback. Mark Sanchez will be the Cowboys quarterback for next Sunday's afternoon game versus the Pittsburgh Steelers (4-4) at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. The big question will be when Romo is fully healthy to play football again, will Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett go with Romo or Prescott as his starting quarterback for thr remainder of the current football season.

Will a healthy Romo even return as starter if Dallas is winning big behind Prescott.

Jason Garrett will have to make that decision but the safe money is to go with Dak for now.

They would be wise continuing to use Dak Prescott. Why would they put Mark Sanchez in against the Steelers? Did something happen to Prescott that I missed? My guess is if Prescott continues to win, Tony will either be a quarter back for another team or back up to the rookie something I'm not sure he would be willing to do. I would say Dallas is my biggest surprise this far this season and I'm not a fan. Like the Steelers, I liked them in the 70's and that's about it.
