Good morning, friends.
This is just a small post to say hello before my aunt calls me to a breakfast with country eggs. The hens go about free besides the corn and wheat. And their eggs have hard shells and orange yolks that are almost red. They are delicious!
While I am here, of course I will forget what the doctor told me about diet. I can manage to say no to sweets, but I have to accept the country bread, the eggs and the fresh cheese.
See you later, with a full tummy!

@JudyEv I have never tried duck eggs, but people who have have told me that they taste more greasy.

@marguicha I couldn't really tell the difference between guinea fowl eggs and hen eggs. It was very nice though.

@marguicha I've not eaten any yolk which is red. All the yolks I've consumed are yellow. I wonder what kind of feed do they have to produce almost red yolks eggs - insects or earthworms perhaps? Actually eggs are not as bad as they make them out to be. They are rich in nutrients and vitamins if I'm not mistaken.

These hens are raised fee to eat worms during the day. They have a chicken coop with the door open and the feed is there. They go in and out during the day and sleep there at night.

The latest I have heard about cholesterol is that some people "make" bad cholesterol and some donĀ“t. My sister in law eats like a bird and had a very high bad cholesterol level.

@toaqua Cholesterol is made by your body. There are people who never have trouble with cholesterol no matter what they eat.

@marguicha Really? that was new to me. I guess there are conditions like that but it is quite scary to have because you are at risk on a lot of diseases.
