How do you manage un-thankful people?

Hi friend. I don't know about you, but for me, it's such a pain when someone gets a favor from me, and cannot even say a simple 'Thank you'. O boiii, so painful to even think about. I have learnt in my life to give to all men, expecting nothing back, not even a thank you, and that has helped me a lot in my dealings with people even if they don't get to say thank you. What about you, how do you deal with such people?

I give when I want to give. I don´t expect thanks.

@marguicha I had to learn that because it helps relax the nerves indeed. Beautiful one Darling...

@Jenning We all have to learn this. It´s not something you learn at birth.

I would think people quite rude if they didn't say thank you. I wouldn't say anything to them but I would probably stop helping them very much.

@Jenning That's true but I would find it hard to say to someone 'you didn't say thank you'. I they are that type of person they probably wouldn't like me pointing out their error.

@JudyEv Nah, they will get the message I tell you. They will. It's better to do that to them and save your heart from continuous hurts. What do you think?

@JudyEv You see? That's what they get and you cannot be blamed for it. Nevertheless, we should not change because of others, we can keep helping them when they need it but point their attention to their errors so they will learn and turn from their error.

Well someone lives with me that's like that and it's very hard. I just try to remember I am doing the right thing-even if they aren't.

I never took it seriously. Saying thank you is not the only way to express appreciation to the one who has given us favour. I'm already satisfied that I could help them or give them something they need accordingly. So, whether they say thank you or not, I never mind it.

@Ayuriny This is because you decided to build up that in your life. But generally it's painful.

There is nothing much to do with people who doesnt even show care or some respect to someone ..its just their own manners that they have developed .. one single person cant change them ...

@sandipguchait It's such a bad attitude. And how do you get to cope with them? Have you had any of these type of folks around you before? Do they hurt?

@amadeo Lolz. I trow not that it makes them feel weak. lolz. It's just one lazy/wicked character which some of them put up unaware.

I don't even think about it anymore. It's so common here that people do not say thank you, do not show courtesy of any kind, and are so full of themselves they can't see beyond their nose to the rest of the world around them. However, I do notice it when people do say thank you and do show common courtesy. It's like a warm spring shower, delightful.

This is the minimum manners one should know and follow. I generally avoid such people or if they are elderly and matured . For youngers, teenagers and kids to teach them what and how one should be grateful to others by saying so.

@shivamani10 And they begin to wonder why the next time they are not given so much attention as they received the other time.

I just don't expect a thank you and simply don't consider it. So it's not such a big deal for me unless I take it personally :)

I don't really mind them. It is enough for me that I helped them, I'm already happy with that and a "thank you" from them is just an added bonus.
