Work during weekends

I was previously on a Saturday and Sunday off and then I was transferred to a different rest day. As of today, I have work in the office during weekends which is quite sad. There are only few people in office during weekends, but less work load as well. If I will be given a chance, I would like to be transferred again to a weekend off.
What off/rest day do you prefer? Please share.

I prefer the weekend to rest. Although sometimes it can be hard when my plan get altered. I also like to rest on Fridays occasionally.

Working in a weekend is a no no for me. I consider this as a family day.

I prefer to stay at home during weekends too, but I guess I have no choice since my schedule was moved.

Is it like split off? Like Monday then Thursday? Something like that?
