Grown with time

Today when you stand in front of the mirror do you see a person who has grown in years not in terms of physique but in terms of mental health.
Your outlook , wishes, priorities have all changed and you see yourself as a comparatively strong human being when compared to the past.
Things that used to trouble you a lot are no longer significant and value for your time.
Are you now prepared to accept life the way it turns out to be?
For me YES I have grown up mentally and have learnt to handle things... But I feel I'm still not prepared to accept life the way it shall come...
I still need to grow and imbibe courage and strength..

@amitkokiladitya @HAPPSINGH Because I am 70 and although I might have a lot of time left it is just as likely that I may not.

When I used to stand in front of the mirror earlier, I felt disappointed with myself as I could not deal with situations properly. I have learned to do that with time and now when I look at myself in the mirror, I realize that priorities change with time. Things that were important and bothered me very much back then were not as troublesome and important as of now. So YES, I have grown up. But as Robert Frost wrote,"There's miles to go before I sleep." So I need to keep evolving, because that's what makes us human.

@amitkokiladitya What a good question! For me, I would say yes on specific things but I do know there are other specific things I will need support with to help better myself.

@amitkokiladitya I understand. I think it's safe to say a huge majority of people would feel that way about their younger self.
