Do all of us suffer from daily depression?

We all have set various goals for ourselves. We all are running a race of our own to acheive certain things in life, most of which are materialistic. But aren't we all creating an atmosphere of depression for ourselves which we are simply ignoring?

The key to avoiding depression is this: accept responsibility for what you do, in all things, and use that to realize you have more control over your life than you think. Use that knowledge to take life in a positive way. Enjoy the journey of life rather than worrying over the destination. You will accomplish more in life and be happier too.

exactly that is the way it is supposed to be. but do you think somewhere we just neglect our inner self in competing with the world around?

@MALUSE I know what real depression is like and you have said you don't suffer from it. These strategies have kept me alive, and will help almost anyone, at least a little, if they give it a chance. In any case you are going off topic, the original author never mentioned clinical depression, but rather a depressed atmosphere, which is what I was specifically speaking about.

@dashmeetur I do think people lose track and pay more attention to competition than the more important things in life. But, there's another way, and they can choose another path.

I do not think like that. I believe in praisi g God for the day and finding the blessings in it.

This is so beautiful what you have said. Maybe we disregard what we have been blessed with rather than running around what we don't have.

I am guessing to some extent we all do.
