Well, it was a nice gesture, but...

The chocolate brownie/cake/Reeses peanut butter thing our neighbor's daughter made

...the daughter of the gal we went to dinner with last night told us that she had made dessert. Okay. The daughter is very much into Pinterest, and made something that, she admitted, had not used the right sized pan for, so it didn't cook all the way through. She gave me a huge peice, and while I ate it (except for the hard slightly burnt edge) after doing so I started to feel sick to my stomach. It wasn't until after I'd gone to bed that -- not long after I had to run to the bathroom and throw it back up. I'm guessing this is the big part of the reason my stomach feels like it does today...

@xstitcher Why did you throw up so much as a kid? Did you have a health concern? That would be my worst nightmare, I'm such a baby when I throw up!

@LovingMyBabies When I was eleven, I had a brain tumor. The doctors said that because of where it was in my brain (near/on the brain stem) that that was the part of my brain that told me to throw up. After the tumor was removed, I had radiation treatments, and that made me throw up a lot, too.

Thank you, @LovingmyBabies, I agree. Even though I did it every morning for months when I was a kid, it never made it any easier. My stomach still hurts, but I haven't had anything to eat today except for a few saltines and I'm on my second cup of tea.

Some of the Pinterest things she's brought actually haven't been so bad. This undercooked thing on top of the rich food I'd already had wasn't a good thing, though.

Oh dear. It is embarrasing when people give you substandard food as a treat. I hope you feel better now.

Well, my stomach still hurts. I'm on my second cup of tea now. I'm staying away from food in general aside from a few Saltines I ate this morning. Maybe I'll lose a pound or two--LOL...
