It is easy to grow basil plants

I didn’t realize that it’s pretty easy to grow basil plants.
I just placed some basil seeds into a pot of garden soil which I purchased from the supermarket. I then watered the pot twice a day.
That’s it. In about a month I have a lovely pot of basil plants a shown in the photo above.
Chicken, pork or beef fried with basil leaves are delicious.
One can also blend the basil leaves with pine nuts and olive oil to make pesto which is great with bread or biscuits.
I believe that consuming basil is good for health.

@Lucky15 Oh, I didn't know one could grow dry basil. How does it taste? Does it still have the flavour?

@Lucky15 Oh, I see but why can't basil be grown in Philippines? I think they can be grown every where except in the desert.

@succeednow we have garden outside office where there is lot of those plants. we also had sunflower last season.

@succeednow We like more on linguine, but I do not believe that they are very known outside Italy.
