Moved again / myLot

I haven't been on Mylot Since May. My husband had an unexpected job transfer and we had to leave Dallas for Henderson in July on short notice. It was quite stressful to say the least. I am still trying to get used to this place but so far I still do not feel at home here.

Home is Home. But you have to adopt to that environment.

Yes, it takes some time to get use to new places and all new people. I lived in the northeast for 71 years.

I know how you feel. I have moved 4 times for the last 2 years, and for me that is already too many. I just want to stay in one place now where I can establish roots and be able to have someplace I can actually call my home.

I know exactly what you mean as we moved 3 years ago from Pennsylvania to Florida. Big difference. The worst things are my kids and grandsons are in New Jersey so now it costs a lot of money to go back and forth.
