I have always forbid the kids to play with or even own toy weapons of any kind..of course thats not to say that they dont use a hockey stick or tree branch etc but that cant be helped really...but toy weapons I dont allow for specific reasons really..oddly enough the violence factor has nothing to do with it since they play Grand Theft Auto and the like...

if they are toys i dontsee the problem but i can understand the debate why they are wrong it may influence them to want the real thing i can see that, sure, but its just a toy so idk i guess it goes both ways,.,
