Mom's phone got sick

Philippines

I just learned this afternoon that mom's phone had gotten a virus attack. It was so bad that she lost the names on her phone book, leaving her with only phone numbers in her messages. Now, I'm thinking of putting my numbers on this computer in case similar things happen to me. But luckily, my Android phone has not opened yet and I'm using it as a Camera and video record instead. They explained to me that her blue tooth was open and exposed all the time. Well, I didn't know much about the new types of phone. I'm basically limited to it.

That's a bummer I'd hand write numbers in a notebook

It is a shame your mother has lost all her contacts. I don't have a mobile of any sort and I'm quite glad really.

Hello @JudyEv this was shocking to me because I didn't know her blue tooth was on the whole time. And I still don't get this blue tooth thing to this day.

@Letranknight2015 Still not sure about that bluetooth thing too because you are notified and has an option to accept or reject if someone sent a file

@toaqua Or that file if accepted might end just being just a virus.

I think it is good to keep a hard copy of information somewhere as these things happen all too easily to phones.

Maybe it can still be fix. All you have to do is to bring it to the mobile phone technician and have it fix. Some phones are easy to fix.

Yes, they did fix it, by deleting everything like formatting it. Yup it was an easy fix @ilocosboy
