My crocheted Pikachu and Squirtle

I am not playing Pokemon Go, as my smart phone doesn't have a data plan, and I simply can't make myself available to catch the Pokemon while carrying my baby. My children were talking about catching the pokemons, though they don't play the game, they have been hearing other kids talking about the game. I was thinking of crocheting some pokemons and pokeballs for them, so they can play the "game", just for fun. I have made Pikachu last month, and just finished the Squirtle this morning. I am going to make two pokeballs soon. Do you play Pokemon Go?

@sishy7 I saw your amazing creations and forgot about my headache and my lie down. Now my headache's back. It's all your fault.

@JudyEv I (and my numbers) have that effect on people sometimes... I hope Lee Ka will have some more pokeballs to show so your headache will be gone soon (those cute things are her creations, not mine)

Thanks. They are actually not difficult to do once you learned how to crochet. There are still a lot more for me to learn, but I am happy at least I can make some simple toys for my children. Sometimes I get too addicted in making toys too. Kids always like toys, I think.

Oh these are SO cute . . . I will show my kids your creations later today! I don't play anything on my phone and my kids are allowed to use my phone. But their dad will allow them to play Pokemon Go every now and then (this started somewhat recently). We don't let them go nuts with the game . . . it can be such an addiction.

Those are so cute... My sons have mugs with those characters on them... I didn't know what they were at first as I don't really know about Pokemon that much at all.

Those are adorable! I play the game casually. When I'm at work, I keep it open on my phone (in my pocket) because I walk around a lot and it counts towards getting candy (used for leveling up the critters) for my buddy Pokemon. Actually, it's gotten pretty old for me... I'm tired of catching the same Pokemon all the time, and they made it so you can't even pick up items while you're in a moving car anymore. I can't walk around as much as the game demands, so that was how I got most of my items before the last few updates. I think your version with crocheted critters is a lot more engaging than the phone game, personally.
