I am wondering what my friends do for a living? Are you a stay at home parent, run a business or work for somebody else? I am almost retired just a few more years part time and I do social work. In my job, I help find clothes, food and other items people need to get off the streets. Many years ago I sold Avon and that was really interesting meeting so many different people. Also sold Amway and you sure need very little detergent to get clothes clean. It was expensive at the time and its probably worth a lot of money today.

@destry I love farming; specially, enjoy animals. Its great to work on the farm. Growing and raising animals really feels good.

I've been unemployed for many years with no occupation. I've been a freelancer for Upwork since mid-July.

Sure does save money. We bought a house and yes its always great, if you can afford it. Well, think you can manage the payments and that isn't easy.

I am retired and I am trying to find a site that is interesting and pays some money for doing something I enjoy. I don't want to teach again!

I was a teacher years ago and understand schools' have drastically changed. I taught 5th and 6th grade and the mixed class was interesting, but challenging with some students really working hard and others were passing notes. Some students I really miss, but others must now be even more challenging with teachers teaching to a test. I enjoyed each of my jobs and mentioned social work and am glad to make a difference. Thanks for posting.
