I was just thinking about the advantages or rather benefits of mylot and I realized that the list was too long.
1). Make new friends from all over the world.
2).share your thoughts on a public platform.
3).read what others feel and have to say
4).seek advice's.
5).learn about different people and their cultures
6).makes us realize that we all have same problems sooner or later.
7). Learn new ways of dealing with life.
8).seek guidance in your any field from the experience holders.
9).earn a few money the fun way.
10).share good morning and good night wishes with so many people .
11).vent all our anger and frustration here.
12).can be always sure that someone must be there to listen and understand your point.
13).improve my general knowledge.
14).improve our vocabulary.
15).Perfect way of spending free time.
And
15).increase our typing speed and accuracy lol
Can any of you suggest some add-ons to this list.

Not sure about improve vocabulary because sometimes I tend to forget the most simplest words, when in a hurry

You have rightly listed out the benefit of mylotting. Most of the writers are primarily here for earnings, rest of the things are secondary and they follow automatically, if you are regular here.

They come from different backgrounds and have different beliefs. I think it is very interesting to find out different things about other people. The best benefit is to learn about other people from around the world. They come from different countries. They have diffeent beliefs.
