One of my friends @Hatley wrote a post about some times how we some times jump to conclusions and blame others instead of taking responsibility for our own actions. I think it's easier to blame some one for something that has gone wrong or something that is lost rather than admit we're NOT perfect!!
Anyway, this reminded me of something that happened yesterday. The hubby is driving our Jeep that we recently purchased as it is cheaper on gas. But there was some insulation that he was able to acquire from work. His pickup needed gas before we could drive it that far. The evening before we were going to get gas at our "village" gas station, but it was already closed.
So yesterday the hubby told me to take it down to the gas station. He has a choke on it, so sometimes it can be tricky to start. I got it started and backed it up and then it died, so I tried starting it up and it wouldn't start. So I messaged him at work and told him what was going on. He messaged me back, "did I have it in park?" I thought to myself did he think I was stupid or what. It was parked and wouldn't start, but it started before.
I go out to try and start it again and to prove to him, yes I had put it in park! Oh, snap it was between park and reverse!!! Put it comp[letely in park and it started right up!! lol
So, my first thought was that the hubby thought I was dumb, but yet he was right!!! Of course we got a laugh at it!!
~Peace~
photo is mine of pickup I was "trying" to start

@STOUTjodee, I was reminded of a story of my own dumb self. I was climbing a bus and felt a group of youngsters pushing and prodding me in the crowded bus. After I had settled down in a seat, my hand went to my pocket for the wallet and got a shock. My first thought was.... God there guys have picked my pocket. The guys had got down in the previous stop and vanished. Stunned, I got down from the bus and returned home with a downcast but angry face. When I reached home, my mom came swiftly waving something in her hand. "Thank god you're back" she said. "You forgot your purse at home".

I can think of one or two of those kind of things too. One was when i said it was to do with the rubber tubes from the Gasoline thing and he said it was not and I did not know enough about Cars or something he muttered I also said to make him even madder that there was not enough water in the window cleaner thing either and I was right two times. Okay after we were so lucky to find a Garage open on a Sunday in the middle of nowhere and charged us so little I thought myself to laugh a little and very grateful to get home in one piece.
One reason why I do not drive his Car its always the fault of someone else never his own lol.
