When it comes to groceries/or eating out, we usually finish whatever we buy that day and go again the next day. We're not a fan of leftovers except the regular essentials like milk, organic juice, vegetables, fruits, etc.
Anyhow, my mission was to go Safeway/Vons for just lettuce & ham to eat for lunch/dinner because I didn't want to drive to Whole Foods... & I came out with a few extras but I didn't get too carried away especially for shopping by myself so I'm quite proud!
I bought:
- Baby Romaine
- Chicken Ham - Thinly Sliced
- Naked Mighty Mango, one of my favorite drinks!
- 2 Colby Jack String Cheese
- Lastly, Chobani Almond Coco Loco Greek Yogurt (This is new to me, never tried it & looking forward to later tomorrow)
Then afterwards, I went to go pick up my boyfriends food at a restaurant, he had salmon & rosemary potatoes.
Do you carried away when going to the market? Do you find yourself buying much more than you should?

Men are all over you dear!!
Yes, when I go grocery shopping with my boyfriend we would always buy extra.
I try not to anymore because we don't like Left overs and it'll go to my parents if I don't like it.

@infatuatedbby Haha...! At least you're lucky that you can give the extra to your parents.

My mom and grandma got carried away this month and used all their money. They are regretting it for sure. I think it is best to go at least once or twice a week.
You got some very healthy stuff. Greek yogurt is amazing, I never tried that kind though. I love black cherry and lemon haha!

I never tried black cherry or lemon greek yogurt, sounds good though!
It is best to go a few times rather than buying too much in my opinion.

@infatuatedbby It is much better to go a few times. I don't know what they were thinking. And yes they are very good! Just plain Green yogurt isn't that great, it makes a good substitute for sour cream though haha!

That is good too! I usually go over always, but with my boyfriend- it's worse. We want to try everything but end up not always eating everything. I have to give it to my parents to help us.

@infatuatedbby that' s okay if you have enough budget. At least your parents got their share from your groceries too.

There's a saying that you should never go shopping when you're hungry! Unfortunately I often do and I end up spending too much.
