How many of you Drink water when u wakeup in the Morning ?

I usually drink 1 litre of water early in the morning when I getback and it fries my stomach. Doctors advise it is good for health.

I do the same, but it may a litre some days, some days less than half a litre, now the climate in Tamil Nadu, Chennai is very cool and I find very difficult to drink in the early morning nowadays.

yes i drink water.. 2-3 glass of water first thing in the morning.. it removes toxins from your body and keeps you fresh

Don't stop all these activity, please start immediately and make it as a habbit and if possible please share this with some of your friends, so that they will also be benefitted. Some of the advantages which I have benefitted by drinking water in the morning are (1) I don't have problem with Stomach dis-orders. (2) I feel more hungry. (3) Still now I don't have problem with Kidney stones. Thanks for your post.

yeah..it really is very good for health..i have read evrything about water therapy and u can call me an expert now..well..i wud say a few words since u ppl have anyway started the discussion.. YES!!!i agree water is very important..its the 90 % constituent in all the body fluids..and we shud drink 5-6 litre daily..but this 5-6 litres shudnt be drink just like that..as and when u like..ther is a schedule..water therapy is not about drinking more water but it is about "drinking more water more properly"..well here it goes..the gist of the whole thing.. first drink 1 litre water as soon u get up..it helps in easier motion and also provides a initial cleanup for the body.. second..dnot drink water as soon as u eat..wait two hours..bcoz firstly,water dilutes the gastric juices and this increases the work load on the glands ..secondly, the mixture of food and water stays in the stomach for long time and hence the stomach sags under the weight..this brings potbellies..well..a few may ask wot the mornings one litre cause this?..but no..it wont coz "just water" stays in the stomach for only five minutes..and why two hours?..coz after two hours the food moves to the intestines and hence the water will not mix with the food..and stop drinking water half an hour b4 eating anything..it is a gr8 natural way to solve many problems...if u still want a perfect schedule then message me and i'll reply with the whole schedule..take care.

i try to do it.but often i forget.my brother drinks water every morning.my friends say that it is good for losing weight if you drink cold water in the morning.i don't understand how it helps but am sure going to try to drink water every morning.

Please drink, when u wake from the bed u will not have digestive problems mainly, once digestion cleared in the morning rest all things will be ok. Today I have missed to drink Iam feeling un-easy, make it as an habbit it will really workout.

I drink water before anything else when I wake up. It's good to quench my thirst after 'fasting' for 8 hours. Ya, it's good for flushing out the toxic in our body too. However, I'll only drink a glass before breakfast. therwise I'll feel bloated and nauseating because I have a sensitive stomach.

I usually drink water first thing in the morning but not too much, I drink a lot of water throughout the day and especially in hot weather, i believe water is very essential to keep our bodies in good condition, sodas and other drinks are not the same.

Yes drinking lots of water is really good for health. Not only health its good for skin & hair too. Right now I am drinking only 3 glasses of water early in the morning & 15 glasses of water per day. But slowly am going to make it 1-2litres.
