Why are cat bites so bad ?

My cat bit my foot through the covers and one day later
I had this horrible infection. I am antibotics, but it
still looks so red and hurts very much. I even have a red
mark up under,by the back of my leg. I think I will have
his little teeth pulled now.

I'm sorry to hear about your bad cat bite. I've never experienced that myself. I have 4 cats now and two of my cats like to scratch me (they think they are playing.) The most their scratches have done is make me itch something like mosquito bites.
Don't pull the babies teeth! :)

Don't have the cats teeth pulled. You need to talk to your vet to find out about behavior modifcation. Most cats will bite when they play. If you cat is still very young, he may be teething.

Its a punture wound so the chances of infection are greater. Plus it is on your foot, does your shoe rub it? Try soaking your foot in some warm salt water. There is some neosporin cream that has a pain helper in it.
